FIFA 08 (also known as FIFA Football 08 and FIFA Soccer 08) is the forthcoming installment of Electronic Arts' popular series of football video games. Developed by EA Canada, it is to be published by Electronic Arts worldwide. It is set to be released this Fall to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, DS, PC, Mobile, PlayStation 3, N-Gage, and Wii.

Features

All Consoles

The game will have a new feature that will allow you to take control of an individual player for the entire match called "Be-A-Pro" mode.[1] Another new mode on FIFA08 will be the all new "Scrimmage" mode where you can practice versus other teams.[2]

Wii

The Wii version of the game will contain many exclusive features and a unique gameplay. There will be soccer related minigames in which Miis will be used. They will have hands, a first amongst Mii related games. The Nunchuk is used to control a player's body, with the analog stick used to control the direction the player moves; the Z button is used for turbo running and to put spin on the ball once it's kicked. The Wii-exclusive "RonaldMiinho" will host a game mode designed and created exclusively for Wii called Footii Party with Ronaldinho. With this mode, Fifa 08 introduces unique party games - including Table Football and Shoot Off – where you can play as your self-created Mii character to unlock Ronaldinho and take on the champ.[3]
