Renigunta is a census town and mandal in Chittoor district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Geography

Renigunta is located at 13°39′N 79°31′E / 13.65°N 79.52°E / 13.65; 79.52.[1] It has an average elevation of 107 metres (351 feet).

Features

  • Renigunta is a Railway junction.
  • An airport is also located here.
  • Famous pilgrimage center Tirupathi is 10 kilometers from here.
  • Two big Industrial estates are located in this Mandal; one on the way to Tirupati and another one at Gajulamandyam village.
  • Publication of daily News papers called Vartha, Eanadu, Andhra Jyothi, Prajasakthi are located nearby Renigunta on the way to Tirupathi.
