UGK (Underground Kingz) is the 7th album from the rap duo UGK.
This will be the first double CD from UGK and will include 26 tracks.
It has been pushed back several times, and Bun B announced via BET Awards pre-show performance that the album is currently set for August 7, 2007.
The album will include collaborations with Z-Ro, T.I., Talib Kweli, Rick Ross, Jazze Pha, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Slim Thug, Dizzee Rascal, Young Buck, Too $hort, Charlie Wilson, Middle Fingaz, OutKast, Sleepy Brown, Three 6 Mafia, 8Ball & MJG, and many more. Production will mainly come from Pimp C, but Lil' Jon, Jazze Pha, Swizz Beatz, DJ Paul & Juicy J, Scarface [1] and Marley Marl & Yung Fyngas, John Bido and JOE TRAXX also chip in.
The first single was believed to be "Stop-N-Go," but it was recently confirmed that the first single will be "The Game Belongs To Me" [2]. Music videos for "The Game Belongs to Me", and a "Quit Hatin' the South" (Interview have been released and can be seen at Magazine in the 'bangers' section).
The second single is "International Player's Anthem (I Choose You)" featuring OutKast, and the video was released as a new joint on 106 and Park on June 16, 2007. The track is a remix of "Players Anthem" featuring Three 6 Mafia (both versions were produced by DJ Paul and Juicy J). Bun B confirmed that both versions would be on the album. The whole album can be heard via thier myspace page. As of August 2, 2007 the explicit retail version of the album leaked to the Internet.
