Description

On the outside, Morse's bleak stone structure appears to make it the ugly step-sister to the other residential colleges. But in reality, Morse is one of the best residential colleges at Yale. The fourteen story tower provides an inspiring view of all of New Haven. The common room is decked out with an air hockey, pool, ping-pong, foosball, and a big screen tv. Almost every weekend a happy hour is thrown with free beverages for all. Perhaps it is the dismal architecture that actually brings the students to bond more closely. A Morse student learns that appearance is not everything, and that life without any right angles is possible. Some students, however, express a great deal of dissatisfaction with both the college's architecture and its stifling social atmosphere.
