Hi, and thanks for correcting the link to Bunbury in the Setagaya, Tokyo article. Now I know why I was unable to locate "Banbury" --- although I should have thought of substituting a "u"! Fg2 01:09, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

Nishi-Arai Station
Hi. Could you explain why you think "Nishiarai" is preferable to "Nishi-Arai" for this station name? I know there is no standard format given in the Manual of Style, but "Nishi-Arai" seems to follow the pattern generally used (hyphen and capital letter after prefixes such as "Kita" , "Kami", or "Shin" etc.). Thanks. DAJF 03:00, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
- Nishiarai does not contain any prefixes. Nishiarai can not be separated into "Nishi" and "Arai".
- Nishiarai does not mean the western region in a certain area nameed as Arai. Nishiarai does not mean the western one of the several places sharing same name of Arai. Because, in near Nishiarai, there is located no place called Arai.
- Tobu Railway displays the list of their stations titled 《停車駅ご案内》(with English title as Tobu Line Guide) on the wall of their stations and commuter trains of Isesaki Line. It shows, the stations with prefix are romanized with hyphen such as "Kita-senju" or "Shin-koshigaya", but Nishiarai has no hyphen because Nishiarai contains no prefix.
- The other lines operating direct to Isesaki Line (Hibiya Line, Hanzōmon Line, and Den-en-toshi Line) also display their stations list in the trains, using same style hyphenation such as "Kita-senju","Shin-koshigaya","Nishiarai".
