Michael Hedges was an American acoustic guitarist. 1953-1997. Hedges' playing style can be described as a highly exotic blend of two-handed tapping and fingerpicking, leading to a rich, smoothly textured music, often categorized as new age (also due to his association with Windam Hill record label).
