Michael Hedges was an American acoustic guitarist. 1953-1997. Hedges' playing style can be described as a highly exotic blend of two-handed tapping and fingerpicking, leading to a rich, smoothly textured music, often categorized as new age (also due to his association with Windam Hill record label). He is widely regarded to be the finest acoustic guitar player of the modern era.
