Chad Szeliga, the drummer for Breaking Benjamin.

Chad Szeliga is the drummer for the band Breaking Benjamin, former drummer of Switched. A professional drummer, he is sponsored by Yamaha Drums, Remo Heads, Zildjian Cymbals, Vater Drumsticks and Vestal. He recorded with Breaking Benjamin on their 2006 album Phobia, which was released August 8 2006.

His first official recording with the band was for the full-band version of the song "Rain" from We Are Not Alone in late 2005, which was sent to modern radio, and later appeared on the band's cover of Queen's Who Wants To Live Forever?

Chad is from Elyria, Ohio and his mother was a music teacher at Prospect Elementary School. Szeliga every once in a while comes to his alma mater, Elyria High School, to talk to the Elyria High Marching Band drummers.

Chad was preceded by Jeremy Hummel, but because of a dispute, Jeremy was evicted from the band. Chad quoted,"I am the best there is and the best there will ever be" on MTV. Chad is known to put his bigger rack tom ahead of his smaller rack tom although he is not left-handed.
