Play N Trade is a California-based video game store franchise. It is "the fastest-growing video game retailer" in the United States,[1] expecting to have over 100 outlets by the end of 2007 and 1,000 stores by the end of 2008.[2]

Play N Trade stores sell new and used video games and consoles and also accept trade-ins (including of old games). Notable services provided include disk repair, console repair and cleaning, and a pre-purchase trial option, where customers can play any game in the store prior to purchasing it.[3]

As of June 2007, Play N Trade has stores in 26 U.S. states, Ontario, Puerto Rico, and Guam:[4]

In 2007, Play N Trade was ranked Franchise 500 and New Franchise 50 by Entrepreneur Magazine and has been successful in recent years, almost doubling its nationwide stores in 2006.[5][6]
