List of Naruto video games
This is a list video games based on the popular manga and anime series Naruto.
Naruto video games have appeared on various consoles from Nintendo, Sony, and even Bandai. The very first Naruto video game was Naruto: Konoha Ninpouchou, which was released in Japan on March 27, 2003 for the WonderSwan Color. Most Naruto video games have been released only in Japan. Because of this, many fans outside of Japan import the games. It wasn't until March 7, 2006 when Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen and Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu were released in North America under the titles of Naruto: Clash of Ninja and Naruto: Ninja Council that any Naruto games were officially available outside of Japan. These games featured the voices from the English dubbed version of the anime. Recently, two new Naruto games for Nintendo DS and Wii have been revealed at the Tokyo Game Show. Also, the fourth installment to the Narutimate Hero series been released for PlayStation 2. There is also a new Naruto game coming for the Xbox 360.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series
Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles series
Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles
Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles (うずまき忍伝, Uzumaki Ninden) is a video game for the PlayStation 2 that is based on the popular manga and anime series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. Unlike the previous Naruto titles on the PS2 (Naruto: Ultimate Ninja and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2), which were fighting games, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles is an action/adventure game. This is also the first 3-D Naruto game not to use cel-shaded graphics. Bandai Namco has finished working on the sequel, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2, which was released in Japan on November 16, 2006. The game is entirely translated and features no Japanese voice track.[1]
Due to the game being released too early for the dub viewers, content present in the game was either modified or removed. The presence of Itachi, Kisame, and Tsunade were completely wiped clean from the original in all FMV sequences and gameplay, while Gaara and Shikamaru had their costumes modified to their present dub costumes. Very strangely, Chouji's abilities to enlarge his arm were kept in the game despite being a spoiler from the Sasuke Retrieval story arc.
Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2
Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 (known as Naruto: Konoha Spirits in Japan) is a video game by Bandai Namco. It is based off the popular manga and anime series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. This game is a sequel to Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles.
The game is an action RPG where the player travel across a map and complete missions to gain experience points in order to gain new abilities or increase their character's stats. Unlike its predecessor Uzumaki Chronicles, the game is not mission based. One can find the missions in a separate mode. The story mode shows Naruto facing ninja who control puppets just like Kankuro.
The game is rather short (only 10 stages), but the versus mode and the mission mode provide a bit of replayability. There is also a second scenario starring Kakashi Hatake.
