Sam Fell was an animator for Aardman Animations.

He was an animator for Peter Lord's Oscar-nominated short film, Wat's Pig.

He later directed the short films The Big Cheese, Pop, and Chump and worked on the TV series Rex The Runt.

He most recently made his feature debut on Aardman's first computer animated film, Flushed Away.
