Seafood industry

A group of seven seafood companies, associated with the city of Seattle, Washington.

The seven companies are

They are known for negotiating a secret agreement with Exxon corporation in 1991, relating to punitive damages resulting from the Exxon Valdez oil spill, in which they were paid $63.75 million, and in return, should Exxon lose the case, they would repay Exxon almost all of their share of the money, which is expected to be about $750 million.
