Candice Michelle Beckman-Ehrlich[2] (born September 30 1978), better known as Candice Michelle or just Candice, is an American model, actress and professional wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment performing on its RAW brand, where she is the reigning WWE Women's Champion.[5]
After spending years modeling and acting, Candice Michelle was hired by WWE in 2004, after she participated in the WWE Diva Search.[6] Outside of wrestling, Candice is known as the Go Daddy Girl,[7] performing in the company's annual racy Super Bowl commercials.[8][9] She posed for a cover and nude pictorial in the April 2006 issue of Playboy.[10] On June 24 2007, she defeated Melina to win her first Women's Championship and become the first former Diva Search contestant to win a WWE title.[11]
Career
Early career
Beckman grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At 16, she won a modeling competition at her local skating rink.[12] She later moved to Los Angeles, California to become a professional model and actress.[13] She studied Theater Arts at Santa Monica College and had on camera acting and Meisner technique training at The Piero Dusa Acting Studio.[14] It was during this time that Beckman adopted the surname Michelle.[1][15] She appeared in numerous bodybuilding and car magazines such as FLEX and Lowrider Magazine, as well as being named Cyber Girl of the Week in the June 2002 issue of Playboy.[1][16][17] Michelle also worked as a foot fetish model, under the pseudonym Mackenzie Montgomery.[18][19][20] Michelle made appearances on television programs such as Party of Five and 7th Heaven, as well as appearing in such films as Tomcats and A Man Apart.[21] She also starred in a softcore role for the HBO series Hotel Erotica.[19]
World Wrestling Entertainment
2004
Candice Michelle came to WWE as a contestant for the 2004 WWE Diva Search. Although she wasn't one of the final ten contestants to make it to the televised event, WWE hired Candice anyway and placed her on the RAW brand under the gimmick of a makeup artist.
Initially, Candice's role was limited. She was never given an angle on RAW and she rarely made television appearances unless to participate in one of the program's occasional lingerie pillow fights or bikini contests that were held between Christy Hemme, Lillian Garcia, Maria Kanellis, Stacy Keibler, and herself.
On June 30, 2005, at the end of the Draft Lottery, Candice Michelle was traded to the SmackDown! brand where she soon took part in an angle that involved a feud between Torrie Wilson and Melina Perez. Candice quickly became Melina's rival when she befriended Torrie. On July 24, 2005, at the Great American Bash, Candice served as the special guest referee for the Bra and Panties match between Torrie and Melina. Melina was victorious.
2005
Candice Michelle (inverted) executing a Figure four necklock on Ashley Massaro the August 22, 2005 RAW Candice Michelle and Torrie Wilson made a surprise appearance. Wilson announced to the audience that she and Candice had been traded to RAW. Torrie then announced that she wanted to welcome 2005 RAW Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro to the team. Candice and Torrie then turned heel by attacking Massaro.
From that point on, Candice and Wilson continued to taunt Massaro, bringing in Victoria to attack her as part of their "initiation" for the new Diva. This continued on until Trish Stratus joined in to help Massaro retaliate against Candice and her two cohorts, who became known as the stable Ladies in Pink, a/k/a Vince's Devils.
After a WWE Women's Championship match on the September 26, 2005 edition of RAW, Candice and Wilson attacked Stratus causing a disqualification. This then led to Candice being stripped of her dress. In a result, Candice challenged them both to a Handicap Bra and Panties Match at the WWE Homecoming on October 3, 2005. However, Candice and her cohorts were once again defeated by Stratus and Massaro.
Candice began utilizing a Hanging figure four necklock in an episode of 'RAW' aired on October 24 2005 a hold that would become one of her signature moves. Candice competed in a "Fulfill Your Fantasy" Diva battle royal at Taboo Tuesday 2005 for the Women's Championship, managing to lock Massaro in her recently-coined Hanging figure four necklock.
On the Tributes to Eddie Guerrero, Candice participated in an interbrand Diva Battle Royal. The following week, Candice was able to pick up a win on her first singles match against Mickie James with the help of Victoria.
On the December 19th, 2005 edition of RAW which was a special "Tribute to the Troops" special for the holiday season, Candice was able to go to Bagram Air Field in Afghanistan. During the tribute show Candice teamed up with Maria to defeat Ashley and Trish Stratus in a "Santa's Little Helpers" match where they were all dressed up in special outfits for the occasion. Candice and Maria defeated Stratus and Massaro when Candice got the pin after the roll-up on Ashley from the corner.
At WWE New Year's Revolution, Candice competed in the Bra & Panties Gauntlet Match and was the first eliminated when stripped by Maria.
At Royal Rumble 2006, she helped guard the lottery drum, along with Victoria and Wilson. A few weeks later after Wilson lost a match against Massaro, Candice told Wilson that Candice was to appear on Playboy Magazine.
2006
In January, Candice appeared at New Year's Revolution in the first ever Bra and Panties Gauntlet match, where she was eliminated by Maria.[22] After being booked to win a number one contender's Diva battle royal on RAW, Candice got her first singles WWE Women's Championship match, but lost to then-champion Trish Stratus on February 27.[23][24] After the match, Candice slapped Wilson, kayfabe blaming her for the loss.[24]
Vince's Devils later broke up when Wilson turned face after Candice and Victoria turned on her during Candice's Playboy cover unveiling.[10] This feud led to a match at WrestleMania 22 in which both Playboy cover girls competed in a Playboy Pillow Fight.[25] Wilson won the match, but the feud continued sporadically in backstage segments where Candice was Vince McMahon's kayfabe "sex slave".[1]
On the July 17 edition of RAW, Candice was the Special Guest Referee during a tag team match of Stratus and Wilson against Victoria and Mickie James. Mickie James entered the match without being tagged in so Candice threw her out of the ring. Afterwards, Victoria tried to clothesline Candice but she ducked out of the way, allowing Stratus to hit the Stratusfaction for the victory. As a result of this predetermined end to the match, Candice turned face.[26]
After Unforgiven, Candice was booked to win a match against Lita the next night on RAW.[27] The next week, in her second match against Lita, Candice was pinned after interference from Edge, in the first round of the WWE Women's Championship tournament.[28] She later competed in the first ever Extreme Strip Poker segment on ECW on October 10, representing RAW.[29]
On the November 27 edition of RAW, during the Diva battle royal, Candice suffered a legitimate broken nose when Victoria kicked her in the face.[30] She had surgery on November 30 to repair her deviated septum.[31]
2007
Candice returned at New Year's Revolution on January 7, 2007 when she went to the ring with Maria to kayfabe fight off Melina as she tried to interfere in the WWE Women's Championship match between then-champion Mickie James and Victoria.[32] Candice made her in-ring return on January 22 when she and Mickie James defeated Victoria and Melina in a tag team match with Candice scoring the pinfall.[33]
Candice then resumed her feud with Melina, who claimed in her blogs that all Playboy cover models were not capable of fighting her in the ring.[34] Candice took offense to this, which led to a Bra and Panties Match between the two, which she lost.[35] Weeks later, Candice began picking up storyline wins in tag matches that pitted her with Mickie James against Victoria and Melina. She also picked up several wins against the latter two in singles matches, which accumulated into the first ever Pudding Match at One Night Stand, which Candice also won, defeating Melina.[36][37][38] After being booked to win matched for several weeks in a row, at Vengeance, Candice defeated Melina to capture her first WWE Women's Championship, becoming the first ever WWE Diva Search contestant to win the Women's Title.[11] Candice retained her title against Melina's kayfabe rematch clause at The Great American Bash with her newest move called the Candywrapper.[39]

Go Daddy
Candice gained national attention in 2005 when she appeared in a commercial for internet domain provider Go Daddy, which aired during Super Bowl XXXIX.[8][41] She played a character named "Nikki Cappelli" who had trouble with her blouse as she testified before a panel holding broadcast censorship hearings.[4][42] The commercial was a parody of the 2004 "wardrobe malfunction" in which Janet Jackson's right breast was exposed.[8] She then became widely known as Miss GoDaddy.com and the Go Daddy Girl.[7][43]
The following year, she was featured in several more Go Daddy commercials. During the 2006 NFC playoffs, she was featured cleaning windows.[9] She later appeared in a commercial during Super Bowl XL, where she seduced an ABC executive to acquire an advertising slot for Go Daddy.[7] She appeared in another commercial for Super Bowl XLI in 2007, where she danced in a room being doused with champagne.[44] Candice appeared on American Chopper to promote the commercial as well as Go Daddy's custom made chopper.[45][46]

Candice is of German and Costa Rican descent.[4] She has an interest in sports, playing varsity and college basketball.[41] She is also a Green Bay Packers fan.[4] On May 7, 2005, she married Dr. Ken Gee Ehrlich, a West Los Angeles chiropractor.[47]
In mid-August 2007, Candice taped an episode of The Family Feud with Batista, John Cena, Mr. Kennedy, King Booker, Layla El, Maria, Michelle McCool, Montel Vontavious Porter, and Queen Sharmell. It is scheduled to air in November.[48] Her measurements are 34D-25-34 and she has breast implants. Beckman's signature pose is twirling her arm around her body (often referred to as the "Go Daddy" dance as it is the dance she performed in the commercial).
Candice is training to improve her wrestling skills in a grungy, underground training facility in the outskirts of Los Angeles called the Barrio. Arn Anderson has also been helping in Candice's training.
