Chocolate Money
Chocolate money is an ingenious invention which has been beneficial to children everywhere. It does not, however, have any monetary value, and can not be used as real currency anywhere.
Chocolate money is made up of small disks of chocolate, moulded into the shape of coins, and wrapped in gold or silver foil for added effect. Chocolate money is generally made up of usual chocolate, but is occasionally made with white chocolate, dark chocolate and gluten free chocolate. It can be purchased at most super markets and is usually very cheap.
Chocolate money has two primary uses:
- As play currency for children
- As a snack for anyone
(chocolate money is often used as prizes at fairs and non-formal occasions)
Other Names
Chocolate money is often called leprechaun gold, chocolate coins and in some areas of eastern Australia, cocoa cash.
