Casady school
Casady School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory school, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Casady is affiliated with the Episcopal Church, and offers an education from pre-school through grade twelve. Many Casady graduates attend the nation's most prestigious and selective colleges and universities, and virtually all graduating seniors go on to post-secondary education. Recent Casady graduates have enrolled in Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Georgetown, the University of Michigan, Northwestern, Grinnell, Swarthmore, and many other elite schools.
Casady was founded in 1947 by Bishop Thomas Casady. The ninth and current headmaster of the School is Charles W. Britton. Most Casady students are very proud of the School yet remain critical of several aspects of student life, particularly the school's social mix, which has historically contained many divisions amongst students. Despite these frustration, Casady students, on the whole, tend to support the school and remain enthusiatic about the Casady experience.
