J.M. Tate High School is located on Tate School Road off Highway 29 in north Escambia County, north of Pensacola, Florida. The area is designated as Gonzales rather than the City of Pensacola. Nickname: Aggies Colors: Crimson, Gray & White Mascot: Horse 1998-99 Enrollment: 1505 Section / Division: 1 / 1 Low / High Grade: 9 / 12

The Tate High School Baseball team were national champions in 1984, and state champions in 1962, 68, 76, 84, 86, and 98.


Tate High School is home to the "Show Band Of The South" [1] The Tate High School Show Band Of The South has been entertaining audiences for decades. The band has gained national attention through it's appearances at the Fiesta Bowl, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Rose Bowl and many other events.
