Mo-Do
Mo-Do was a 1990s Italian Eurodance band, essentially the artistic name used by Fabio Frittelli an italian musician born in 1964 in Monfalcone, Italy.
The name Mo-Do originates from the two first letters of his birth-town and the day of his birth Sunday ('Domenica' in Italian). Frittelli's mother is an Austrian teacher, and his father a translator in a import-export company. Before forming Mo-Do, he played for the Blue The King and Validi Alibi bands. He also used to be a model for Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Armani and Kenzo.
Mo-Do was formed when Frittelli met the producer Einstein Dr. Deejay (aka Claudio Zennaro). Other producers (sometimes quoted as members of the group) who worked with Frittelli were Fulvio Zafret, Mario Pinosa and Sergio Portaluri.
Mo-Do is probably best known from the single "Eins, zwei, Polizei" (co-produced with Zennaro and Zafret), a single inspired from 2 old German songs (Der Komissar of Falco and Da Da Da of Trio). Other known singles from Mo-Do are Super Gut in 1994,Geh Mal Tanzen in 1995 and Superdisco (Cyberdisco) in 1999.
