King Ramses' Curse is an episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog. It was fittingly the 13th episode to air, since this episode partially revolved around luck and curses. It was the first historical episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Plot
As two thieves have stolen an ancient slab and bury it as a helicopter is chasing them. As they finish burying it they get in the car and are ambushed by a shadowy figure with a ghostly voice as unseen buzzing creatures attack them. The next day, Courage digs it up, and when Eustace sees on the news that it's worth millions, he decides to keep it and sell it to the highest bidder. Professor Frith arrives (the first of many appearances in the series) and offers a bag in exchange for it, but Eustace refuses. That night the ghostly figure appears, demanding that they return the slab or suffer the curse. Eustace refuses. Ramses (the only adversary on the show to be done in 3D) warns that that night they will suffer three plagues, each worse than the last unless they return the slab. Suddenly the house begins to flood with water, though Courage manages to stop this plague by locating a drain in the basement and pulling it, emptying the house. The next plague is hideous and humorous music deafening them, but to King Ramses' disappointment, Courage manages to stop this too when he locates the record player behind a pile of hay and destroys it. The final one even Courage cannot stop: vicious man-eating locusts start destroying the farmhouse (also the plague that killed the two thieves that first stole the stone). Eustace surrenders and gives up the slab, but then takes it back, believing Ramses to have run out of power. But Ramses is not finished and brings back the locusts, who close in on Eustace. At home, Courage and Muriel watch the TV and onscreen Professor Frith says that the slab has been returned where it will remain for all time. Eustace is now engraved on the slab as a punishment for his greediness and says "What's yer offer?"
