Structure

Hierarchy definition

No classification of this project has been defined.

Goals

  1. I think we really need to fix the Wikis on tribes. A lot of the articles are "orphans" (they don't have any links to other articles). zakka 21:33, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tasks

  1. Please add the talk page template {{PashtunWikiProject}} to the top of the talk pages in all articles under Category:Pashtun people, Category:Pashtun culture, and Category:Pashtun tribes.

Adopt an article

Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.

WikiProject Deletion sorting

Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting is a new effort that attempts to classify various articles nominated for votes for deletion by major categories. The Wiki-Pashtuns-related articles at VFD are listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Wiki-Pashtuns.

Requests

  1. We need to work on getting users like Behnam and Anoshirawan banned or blocked because they are severely vandalising Pashtun culture and Pashtun people related articles. An example is that of Mirwais Khan Hotak and the Hotaki dynasty, where they are trying to show that the Hotaks were not Ghilzai Pashtuns, but were Tatars or Uzbeks.
