Keshav Mahavidyalaya is a constituent college of University of Delhi. The new campus of the college has come up in Pitampura (H-4-5 Zone near Sainik Vihar) and the college has started functioning from the new campus. The college started functioning in August 1994 with two courses B.Sc.(Gen.) Computer Science and B.Com.(Hons.). In later stages, other courses like B.Sc.(Hons.) Electronics, B.Sc.(Gen.) Mathematical science, PGDCA were introduced. The much publicised courses BIS, BIT were also available in the college till the University decided to discontinue with the same. It has been an honour to the college to have always been the among the front runner as far as allotment of any new computer course is concerned.

Under the able guidance of founder principal, Dr. K. P. Chinda, the college, in a very short span of time, has been able to carve out a niche for itself by delivering good results in Delhi University exams. To make students understand the intricacies of what we call complex technology, the college has always made it sure to use latest gadgets and technology. Apart from three Computer laboratories equipped with LANs running on Windows NT/2000 Server and Unix Server, the college also has OHP as well as LCD projectors in the college. We feel proud to announce that the Computer Laboratories are completely networked on a Wi-Fi LAN, perhaps the only college in Delhi University to have this arrangement.

The college believes that for the all round development of students, it is necessary to involve them in some extra curricular activities. In this direction, the college organizes freshers welcome, annual cultural festival, computer festival , annual day and annual farewell every year. The college also has a Computer Society (BLITZ) and Rotaract club. The college organizes annual blood donation camps with Rotaract club.

With effect from the year 2007, the college has introduced a new course B.B.S.(Bachelor of Business Studies) that is an outstanding general management program. The curriculum for BBS is rigorous, flexible, and continually enriched with the latest developments in management theory and practice.
