El Estadio Casas GeoCaliente, will be a multi-use venue that will be used mostly for football matches and will host the home matches of Club Tijuana, a club who is actually playing in the Primera Division A, in Mexico. The stadium will have a capacity of 33,333, and, in words of Jorge Hank Rhon, the owner of the future stadium, the main reason of the construction of the stadium is his wish of have a professional football club in the city.

The club that will be the future tenant of the stadium, Club Tijuana, who is actually playing on the Unidad Deportiva CREA, a public sports park with a stadium with a capacity of 5,000.

The stadium will be opened on January 2008, according to the working schedule. After that, Club Tijuana will be able to be promoted to the Primera Division de Mexico, because the FEMEXFUT demands that the teams participating on Primera Division must have a stadium with a capacity over 15,000. Jorge Hank believes in the team of Tijuana, and, in case of fail on the attempt of being promoted, Hank will buy a team that play on the Primera Division, and bring it to Tijuana.
