Ray Chi article deletion

Hi, I wrote the article on Ray Chi that you recently deleted. I did not have computer access for a few days and didn't get the message until today. I could have easily sited or referenced various items in the article and wish I would have had more time to do so. Is there any way to get the article back? I was actually going to add to it soon because he's done more work lately that would make him even more noteworthy than he already is. Shatner1 21:17, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

MFD

I've transcluded Portal:Catholicism/Popes in to Portal:Pope/Popes to prevent forking, but to allow portal consistancy if anyone ever wanted it. Do you think this is a good fix, or do you want to continue with the MFD? Thanks, — xaosflux Talk 03:44, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

The point is that Portal:Pope/Popes is not used anywhere. Do you think there's some reason to keep it? --Abu badali (talk) 03:49, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply, I've reverted myself. I don't really have an opinion one way or another on that page, but do note that although it is orphaned, it is only a week old, have you talk'ed the creator?. — xaosflux Talk 04:01, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

UCFD

It is actually not archived yet, but I was using that edit summary as it will be there soon and if I use the current location, no one will be able to find it later. For now it is still @ Wikipedia:User categories for discussion#Category:Psuedoreligionist Wikipedians --After Midnight 0001 04:25, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

You are welcome. BTW, this wouldn't have happened if we used page-per-day for UCFD like we do for CFD, but I don't feel like setting that all up. See you later. --After Midnight 0001 04:42, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

As you are already aware, Category:Psuedoreligionist Wikipedians and its subcategories, including Category:Discordian Wikipedians, Category:Flying Spaghetti Monsterist Wikipedians, Category:SubGenius Wikipedians, and others, have been deleted. That deletion is now up for review. If you have anything you'd like to say on the subject, now is the time. If you know of any other editors who might have something to say on the subject, pass the word. If, on the other hand, you are not interested in the slightest, feel free to delete this.   — Bigwyrm watch mewake me 09:55, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Vote at CfD

Hello. I think you have used sound reasoning in saying that some of the generation categories should be deleted and some not - I agree this could be beneficial. However, I was wondering if you would alter your vote to say that the "Wikipedians in their XXs" should be kept and the "Generation XYZ" should be deleted. I say this for two reasons (A) which generation one considers him/herself is POV, and there is even conflict among sociologists about which Generation should be called what and at what ages; (2) The "Wikipedians in their XXs" is not POV and editors are added and updated automatically if they use one of several user age templates, thus requiring less maintenance. I would imagine that these have a stronger chance of surviving and actually being useful in the future. Depending on what you decide, you can change your vote here.--Esprit15d (talk ¤ contribs) 15:08, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

A little of your time

Would you be able to take a little time to look at user Mind meal (talk, edits), who is incivil, makes threats and tries to intimidate editors. Others have attempted to advise the user, but perhaps you might be able to give it a try.

Please urge the use of edit Summaries and the Preview button to reduce edit clutter. Thank you. Hu 04:56, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Bot Error

Yep, this is why we have BRFA. I noticed another serious error, so I went and reverted the edits, as it made the talkpage below act very unusually. Please fix the error I detailed and re-run the trial for 5 edits. Sorry for all the mucking around! Matt/TheFearow (Talk) (Contribs) (Bot) 02:02, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

WP:CVU status

The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you!
