Regarding edits made to Ian Thornley

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, 198.208.159.20! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule proboards\d{1,3}\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 14:38, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Sleepwalking. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Andrew_pmk | Talk 21:54, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Labradoodle. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Shoessss |  Chat  15:55, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Labradoodle, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. August 2007

This is your only warning.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia and other sites that use the MediaWiki spam blacklist at all. You have been blocked for a period of 60 hours from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. ~ Riana 11:38, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Labradoodle. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Sarrandúin [ Talk + Contribs ] 01:09, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
