Hyōtan-yama Station(瓢箪山駅) is a train station on the Kintetsu Nara Line in Higashiosaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan.

Building

The station has 2 side platforms and 4 tracks.

1  Nara Line Eastbound for Ikoma, Yamato-Saidaiji, Kintetsu Nara, Tenri and Kyoto
2  Nara Line Eastbound passing trains (no platform)
3  Nara Line Westbound passing trains (no platform)
4  Nara Line Westbound for Fuse, Tsuruhashi, Uehommachi and Kintetsu Namba

History

  • 1914 - The station opens as a station of Osaka Electric Tramway
  • 1941 - OET merges with Sankyu Electric Express Railway and because a station of Kansai Electric Express Railway
  • 1944 - Becomes a station of Kintetsu
  • 1997 - Concourse rebuilt on top of the platforms
  • 2006 - Promoted to Suburban Semi Express stop
  • 2007 - Starts using PiTaPa
