Christopher Mintz-Plasse (born June 20, 1989) is an American actor who debuted as Fogell/"McLovin" in the 2007 comedy Superbad.
He was born Christopher Charles Plasse in Los Angeles, California.[1] He attended El Camino Real High School from 2003 to 2007. Mintz-Plasse was cast in the role of Fogell after auditioning with two high school friends.[2] He was tutored on set, then went back to school for two months before graduating[3] high school with a 2.8 GPA.[4] His mother was on set while filming because he was only 17 years old at the time.[5]. Prior to his work on Superbad Chris had no acting experiance other then drama classes in elementary and middle school. He stated while on the Late Night show with Jay Leno that because he had no head shots before his audition he just took a headshot with his camera phone. Jay Leno then showed the shot which was poorly taken. He calls that picture "his most important yet" despite its poor quality.
