Yournickname is an American user of Wikipedia from New Mexico interested in Politics and History.

Since it is in fact the user of Yournickname writing this, he wont go into egotistical details, because to talk about your self in vain, and Yournickname is not vain...

Info-Data/Ego Rant

[edit]

My actual name is Jonathan. I hail from the City Different in the Land of Enchantment (Santa Fe, New Mexico) and I am now officially in-between High School and college. I turned 18 in july 12 2005 (YAY!)! You can read all about me at my MySpace blog

Contributions/Self inflicted ego-boost

[edit]

I am mostly interested in Politics and History, and particularly Political History... very specifically, Political History about New Mexico! I am, as far as I know, the #1 editor for New Mexico's political articles, and perhaps #1 for New Mexico in general. I have created 90% of the articles concerning New Mexico's politics and politicians.

Aside from the obsession with my home state, I also have studied the French Third Republic in too much detail, I have a good deal of knowledge about the French Navy, I am interested in Southeast Asian history, and know a lot of useless obscure facts about Colonial Africa.

Though, on those topics, I rarely contribute. My attention has been spent on New Mexico. And my star contributions are the former Senators of New Mexico. When I first looked them up, only three (THREE!) Senators of New Mexico had real biographies, two more had stubs. I was disgusted. Not just disgusted, horrified! Many of New Mexico's Senators have had a part in shaping policy during the 20th century. Carl Hatch (who I have yet to create a biography on) was one of the most improtant Civil Service reformers during the early half of the Century! Clinton P. Anderson was responsible for preventing a food crisis after World War II! Bronson M. Cutting and Dennis Chavez were instrumental in gaining equal opportunities for Hispanics! Holm O. Bursum was the epitomy of the early western Conservative that spawned Barry Goldwater! Albert Fall was one of the most corrupt individuals in the history of the United States... well, perhaps he isn't the best one to mention. But you get my point. New Mexico's Senators were an important part of history. Thanks to me, I have brought that history to Wikipedia.

But behold, beyond the Senators, I am a total Wikiholic:

Editing/My brag list

Key: Bolded are things I feel I cannot add anything more to. Italized are things I am still working on expanding. Neither bold nor italized are things I neglect, and will most likely add nothing to in the near future.
