Vauxhall Bridge provides a crossing of the River Thames in central London linking Vauxhall Cross with Pimlico.

The current bridge was designed by Sir Alexander Binnie to replace a previous cast-iron structure (the Regent's Bridge, designed by James Walker and opened in 1816), and was completed in 1906.

It has five steel arches mounted on granite piers, and its most striking features are statues commemorating women's achievements in society.
