Re: New England Statehood Movement Flag
Hi JRG. Sorry for not answering earlier - I was away from home for a while, partly for a conference about flags. I don't actually have a free image of the New England flag - the closest I know of is a non-commercial use image at http://flagspot.net/flags/au-ne.html . You could email António (see here) to ask for it to be released, but it is probably simpler to ask someone like User:Zscout370 to draw a vector image of the flag. Illawarra stations
I was taking my aged parents on a long day trip from Canberra mixed with photography, so I was a bit under time pressure and I failed to find a place to stop at Cringila station southbound and it harder to access northbound. I also missed Fairy Meadow station, and was harassed about parking on a bus stop at Dapto which was being used by a Sunday substitute bus service, so I didn't get a picture of the dock station. If somebody doesn't get to it first (and you would think somebody from the Illawarra might), I'll fill some of these gaps later.--Grahamec 13:03, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Hawkesbury River Station
Hi and thanks for your reply. I do have a pic of the station, the pic looks basically like any other station, so to me its kind of ordinary but still usable. I also have another pic taken from the pedestrian bridge looking north over the rail line towards long Island which isn't to bad and another looking over the town of Brooklyn from the same bridge with a glimpse of the Hawkesbury train station sing in view. If you want I can upload them, you can choose the ones that you like and add them to the article so that its formatted to your liking. I can leave them on this talk page for you. I also have more Hawkesbury River photos, what I used was just a few out of my collection. Cheers_Ad@m.J.W.C. 13:26, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have uploaded all that I have of and near the station, the others that you mentioned I do not have. One day I may go out and take more pics of stations possibly. If I knew that someone would have requested images of the station at the time, I would have went out of my way to take better ones. Cheers_Ad@m.J.W.C. 13:42, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Here is some info on the Chullora bunker but its mainly rumors http://home.st.net.au/~dunn/bunkers/chullorabunker.htm . Cheers_Ad@m.J.W.C. 00:11, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Interesting
...that a certain user hasn't edited since making certain controversial requests which got turned back. Orderinchaos 09:22, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
Re: Summer Hill GA Delisting
Hi JRG, No, sorry, I don't have the book source I used for Summer Hill any more - it was borrowed from the local historical society, and the main person there who was really helpful became quite ill, and I don't think is there any more. It was mostly written at the end of 2004, and back then the style was more to have a separate references and notes section for articles, and since then the emphasis has changed to be more on inline references - but that's okay, things change. So I've done the best I can for the book bits from memory; also the old ABS stats link I used to make a graph and for one line about the demographics now seems to be dead. It's about the best I can do though, sorry. The good news though is that all the refs are inline now. -- All the best, Nickj (t) 07:40, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Re: Sydney Railways Map
No excuses on my behalf, I've just been slack. Hopefully you still have a need for it:
