Hidden races

The Earth of Marvel Comics' main continuity (or, "Marvel-Earth") has contained a number of fictional hidden native humanoid races. A list of these includes:

• The Alpha Primitives (now on the moon)
• Atlanteans
• Bird-People (see Inhumans, Red Raven)
• Cat-People (now extinct on Earth)
• Deviants
• Eternals
• Infra-Worlders
• Inhumans (now on the moon)
• Lemurians
• Mutants (an evolving superhuman race sometimes termed "Homo superior")
• The "People" (humanoid lizards who first appeared in Ms. Marvel #20 and were killed off by the Dire Wraiths as depicted in Rom #9)
• Savage Land Races
• The Serpent Men (now extinct)
• Subterraneans
• The Troglodytes of Britain (evolutionary throwbacks who first appeared in Avengers #115
• The Yeti (also known as the Cold People)
