RE: New Years Revolution

PPV locations are generally announced 5-6 months in advance. None has been announced yet. I wont revert you if you put it back, and am willing to wait and see however, as a revert war over something like this would just be silly. Bmg916Speak 02:43, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WWE/TNA PPVs

Bound for Glory was considered the biggest TNA PPV last year, and Slammiversary marks a anniversary, all the rest are considered minor PPVs. Same with the WWE PPVs (although I'm doing major work on some PPVs on the WWE part). Davnel03 16:38, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Take this which I splitted a few days ago. Davnel03 17:00, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This. Davnel03 17:03, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, I'm just going to be adding much more to the 2005 ONS, and perform a split when it heads into the mainspace. Davnel03 17:18, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Dunno. Davnel03 17:24, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Not really. Sorry. :( Davnel03 17:36, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I'll probably mention it. Davnel03 18:05, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox

Hey man. I was looking around random userpages and I noticed one of your userboxes. May I suggest THIS userbox for you? MITB LS 19:04, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See the front of my userpage. MITB LS 19:22, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In the edit screen of your page, you know the WPES near the bottom of the page? Cut it and paste it where you want it (if you want it above the "this is a WP userpage" thing, paste it above the userpage. If you want it below that but above the userboxes, just paste it below the userpage ). Peace! MITB LS 19:30, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah... I understand now. You could do that. The problems are: one, a table listing all recurring events that have happened on a certain show would be very long in size. Second, there haven't really been a lot of long-running events. Piper's Pit, Carlito's Cabana, and the Cutting Edge are examples of long running event. There are a lot more which have only appeared briefly (Rennee's Cafe, Miz TV, the Kurt Angle Invitational, Dude's Love Shack, White Boy Challenge, etc.), and putting them each in a space on a table would be kind of irritating. Besides, I don't think a lot of people at WP:PW will catch on with that. If you need any more help, don't hesitate to post a message on my talk page. :) MITB LS 19:47, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. MITB LS 19:56, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks good, actually. Of course, I'm not the one to make the decision whether to put it on the articles or not. You'll have to post it at WPT:PW to see if other people approve of it before you put it on the pages. MITB LS 21:04, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want me to create one (a status indicator) for you, or do you want me to tell you what to do to make one (to give you more expirience with WP coding)? MITB LS 21:45, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Create 3 user subpages. The first one: /StatusPage (put it in front of "User:Truco9311", so the result will be "User:Truco9311/StatusPage"). The second one: /StatusDiv. The third one: /Status. I'll wait until you do these steps to give you the next steps. MITB LS 22:08, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding how many approvals do you need for the table to be approved: there really isn't a set number of approvals neeeded to be approved. If you feel you have enough support, then go ahead and add it to the mainspace. Regarding how to create subpages: the basic formula to create a subpage is ("User:Truco9311" + "/name of subpage here"). Just type in your username (with "User:" in the prefix), type in a slash (/), then the name of the subpage. I'll create the StatusPage here to give you an idea of how to create a subpage. Then you do the same thing for "StatusDiv" and "Status". MITB LS 22:29, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Put the following code on the the StatusDiv subpage:

<div style="position:absolute; z-index:100; right:10px; top:10px;" class="metadata" >This user is: {{#switch:{}
| online=<span style="color: #008000;">Currently online </span>
| busy=<span style="color: #B8860B;">Currently busy </span>
| offline=<span style="color: #CC3333;">Currently offline </span>
}}</div>

-MITB LS 22:57, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah... you can customize it to the way you want; change the colors/images/etc. MITB LS 22:58, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I got my status indicator from Moe Epsilon. Anyway, now add this to your StatusPage:

Once you're done with this part, you're basically done with creating your status indicator. What you finally need to do is add to the top of your userpage (and your talk page if you want). MITB LS 23:32, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The way you use the indicator is simple. Go to your Status page. When you're online, put in "online" on the page (have "online" the only thing on your page, or it won't work). If you're busy (online, but busy on,say, another website), type in "busy". And when you're not online, type in "offline". That's all. I'll be going somewhere for an hour, so I won't immediately respond to any messages. MITB LS 23:36, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
