2007 meat recall due to E. coli
21.7 million pounds of frozen ground beef products produced (ground, froze, packaged) on various dates between Sept. 25, 2006, and Sept. 25, 2007 by the Topps Meat Company have been recalled due to E. coli contamination concerns based on product samples testing positive for E.Coli and illnesses resulting from eating the product.[1]
