The word Czech may be disambiguated into Czech people or Czechs. Pavel Vozenilek 21:35, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are you a Wikibot?

Hi there! I suspect that you are a Wikibot. If so, please flag yourself as such. If you are not a bot, I am very impressed at your single-mindedness and thoroughness. --Mareino 20:30, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, the only thing robotic about me is the way I dance. SkerHawx 03:05, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Czech

I hope you don't mind that I closed the deletion discussion for Czech (disambiguation). Your assumption that unused redirects should be deleted is a common (and natural) one, it comes up at RfD quite often. And thank you very much for disambiguating all those links to Czech! I also do disambiguation link repair sometimes, and appreciate your help. Happy editing, Kusma (討論) 00:58, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question on Absinthe edit

In regards to Absinthe edit: I'm not certain how to contact you, but if this is it, great. I do not believe the link I added is advertising, and whether it be observed as such it is most certainly helpful in that it provides users who are looking for information on Absinthe to see examples of how it is represented in fashion. An external link that is commercial in nature certainly does not automatically include it as a detractor of information.

A link to a site that only seeks to sell a product is generally considered commercial in nature. If the link sought to explain how Absinthe has influenced fashion, it would be quite different. SkerHawx 23:46, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with SkerHawx. Especially since the 'fashion' was just a t-shirt with "absinthe" on it. -- Ari 23:52, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If one is seeking to locate examples of how Absinthe is represented in pop-culture, must they proceed to an external site that provides this information or can it not be provided on Wiki? Absinthe, specifically, has become a pop-culture phenomenon as of late and examples of its widespread glorification should most certainly include commercial examples of how it is represented. Perhaps there should be a "commercial" section if it is not to be included in the external links. Although I realize it is necessary to remove spam and abuse to keep wikipedia informative, well organized resources (including commercial links) are most certainly helpful to anyone seeking information on any particular subject.
No, but you're welcome to add a section in the article Absinthe that describes these phenomena and is supported by proper citation and is not spam SkerHawx 23:58, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Coutries Mottos

What I did on the the Motto's article wasn't at all a experiment or a test, I fixed a grave mistake made by someone who knew nothing about Iranian motto. Arad 23:25, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies SkerHawx 23:29, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Korean War

I reverted your changes back to simply "ceasefire" since that indicates the countries are still at war, with a temporary stop in hostilities. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SkerHawx (talkcontribs)

Yeah, you are correct. But isnt it better to emphasize that they are still formally at war? Thanks --Nielswik 11:58, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template for notifying users

In reply to your question on my talk page, I think the template you're talking about is nn-warn, which is about warning users about a page they have created about a subject that is not notable enough for inclusion in Wikipedia. Or perhaps you were looking for drmspeedy (which sounds more like what you described, although I don't recall using that one recently). A list of helpful templates for your use to put on other users' talk pages can be found at Wikipedia:Template_messages/User_talk_namespace. Hope this helps! —Brim 21:02, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

¡Hola!

Drivecrazy

I can assist you with your sockpuppet report against him. :) Will you like me to just fill it out for you?AlanTalk - Contributions 19:42, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I filled out the evidence part for you, and added it to the report page. Edit it any way you like. AlanTalk - Contributions 20:21, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stockholm Syndrome

You recently sent me a message saying I removed information from the Stockholm Syndrome page. After checking back on the page's history, I realised that this wasn't the case. Therefore, I feel you owe me an apology for indirectly labelling me as a vandal. I did not remove any information from the page, but simply added to it, by stating that Stockholm Syndrome is also a song written by British band Milburn, as well as the other bands stated, such as Muse. Being from the USA, I understand that you probably choose not to concern yourself with the affairs and, in this case, the popular music of other countries of the world. But the information I contributed is true, and I did not remove any information from the page, so I suggest you recognise your error, and go back on ur accusation against me. Thank you.

Examen de Coeficiente Intelectual

Gracias por mencionarme en tu página de usuario. :) ¿Te sacaste 142? WOW... ¡podrías ser miembro de Mensa sin ninguna dificultad! (hmmm...I wonder why you wrote in my user page instead of my talk in the first place then... just kidding! LOL ). Rosa 19:29, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

Why was that edit on Orpah vandalism? Isn't categories supposed to be at the bottom? And you can't say "Oprah was name", it should be "Oprah was named". And it looked odd when the name was there twice, so i made it into a list? What's the friggin problem? --80.63.213.182 16:29, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, my edit of the Lincoln East page refering to the Bloods and The Crips is legitimate. I was browsing the history, and someone did in fact replace the bloods and crips with some nonsense, but I assure you that any edits I have made are legitimate.

Barnstar

Thank you very much for the barnstar. But, wait, you almost didn't give it to me because I'm a Steelers fan? :(. And gosh, as I'm writing this, we're losing to the Raiders, and about to go 2-5. Well, if the Steelers don't make the playoffs, and Seattle does, at least Pittsburgh can say they (handily) beat Kansas City :P. Thanks again. -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 21:41, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to fine tune that bot before you make any more reversions while edits are in progress. Or next time assume good faith and ask me what exactly it is that I am doing. --Basique 13:38, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Moved Misplaced Comments

Re: Removal of edit 7th November, 2006. You are WRONG ... WRONG ... I Should know, Sankey Brook flows through my land. It comes from Rainford ... NOT Billinge Hill. It's NOT called the Black Brook either ... Get your facts right before deleting the truth, from someone who KNOWS !!!!! I live there, Where do YOU live? 7000 miles away in America??? What do YOU know about MY brook that flows through MY land? Get real. Wikipedia will definately be full of local opinion and hearsay, because those who are administrating don't know their arse from their elbow!—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.192.242.187 (talk)

please explain

"Words and images that might be considered offensive, profane, or obscene by other Wikipedia readers should be used if and only if their omission would cause the article to be less informative, relevant, or accurate, and no equally suitable alternatives are available."

Those are the wiki guidlines regarding profane language. Are you telling me if that user page did not contain that profanity it would be less informative and not make the required point? HaHa

Understood, but do you agree on my intepretation of the wiki profanity rules?

About an Edit ...

Hi there. You reverted my addition to the article on mercedes s class' special version. However the s65 amg actually does 0 to 60 in 4.4 secs. I read that in top gear magazines august or september issue (sorry cant remember exact the month) in which it was test driven. Owais malik

I noticed you incorrectly placed a speedy deletion tag on this article. Please remember to check the edit history of articles before doing this. The page was vandalized, and should be redirected to Matthew Miller. I encourage you to keep Matt Miller on your watchlist like I am, so this repetitive vandalism can be reverted as soon as possible. Have a great day! EdGl 02:00, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism in progress

More vandalism from IP 212.69.225.141 after your final warning.

see 1

SkerHawx-- I have supplemented your warning to this user. You may want to revisit and revise yours. Thanks. Kablammo 14:28, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More vandalism from Rileyb

SherHawx, a fortnight ago you left a final warning on user Rileyb's talk page. User talk:Rileyb He's still at it, as you can see here 2. Thank you for your time. Anonymoustom 02:40, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

List of songs about suicide

It wasn't just vandalism. The addition of Lthium is unsourced and contradicts the song's article. Also, Cobain's death cause has been disputed since a long time ago (see also the discussion about the use of either murder or suicide category in the article). --200.118.202.137 23:17, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

An IP you warned made another insertion into article same day but prior to your warning.

Hello, I was doing a random article read/check and came across an article called D-sosa and noticed that an IP you warned, User talk:68.160.36.67, inserted a statement into the article. I don't know anything about the subject but it would kinda fit if D-sosa is president of a rapper record company. Ronbo76 05:25, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pluto Vandalism

Apparently, there was some recent vandalism you edited on the "Pluto" article from (the previous owner of my) IP, 70.111.134.76. Just would like you to know that this was not me. Thank you for your diligence however. :) Torus 23:57, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
