Prince-bishop

Prince-Bishop or Reichsfuerst was a title granted by the Holy Roman Emperor to the holders of certain bishoprics. The title granted the bishop, a religious leader, secular rights over his Diocese, thus making him the legal equal of other princes of the same rank.
