OpenGroupware.org is a collaborative software (groupware) server for multiple clients. It is mostly written in Objective C and uses PostgreSQL and Apache. OpenGroupware.org is built on code released in 2003 by SKYRIX Software AG, it represents a product that been under development since 1996.

Projects to support clients such as Kontact and Novell Evolution, over a newly defined protocol named GroupDAV, are either complete or underway. The Novell Evolution connector is now functional. Development of the Novell Evolution connector was arranged by Toltech Solutions. Syncronization of mobile devices is supported via BionicMessages' GroupDAV connector for the Funambol DS server.

License type: GPL - Copyright (C) 2000-2006 SKYRIX Software AG. A commercial edition is also available that adds Oracle Corporation support and load-balanced clustering. Microsoft Outlook support is provided via commercial client and server add-on known as ZideLook.
