Canyon Lake Gorge is a gorge in Canyon Lake, Texas. It was formed on July 4th, 2002 when 70,000 cubic feet of water rushed downward from the Guadalupe River for three days.[1] The gorge is a mile-and-a-half-long and up to 80 feet deep.[1] The Guadalupe Blanco River Authority manages the 64-acre Canyon Lake Gorge site. Officials hope to build a rim trail to overlook the canyon in the winter of 2007.[1]
