Jakub Arbes

Jakub Arbes (June 12, 1840, PragueApril 8, 1914, Prague) was a Czech writer and journalist, sympathizer of the Májovci literary group and creator of the new genre called romanetto. Although sympathetic to the Májovci group, he was not part of it, because they created under different circumstances.
