Frédéric Chopin composed and wrote the Grande Valse brillante in E-flat major as his first waltz work for solo piano in 1833.Its Op. is Op.18.

Most of the composer's waltz works are remarkablly different from the Viennese waltzs. However they are lacking their shining music taste , they are full of the artistic contents.

Despite the concept of Chopin , the Grande Valse brillante contains some virtuosity.
