Liquid War is a multiplayer wargame with a new and original concept : you move a cursor in a 2D battlefield with some obstacles, and your army of liquid follows it using the shortest path. When one of the particles of an army meets an ennemy particle, they fight and one of them will eventually be assimilated and change its color.

Liquid War is designed to be a multiplayer game (though a single player mode is available, in which the oppenents are controlled by the computer) and can be player over Internet.

Liquid War has been attributed the Most Original Linux Game award by Happypenguin.org in 2002, and has been nominated for the Trophées du libre in 2003, an International Free Software Competition.

Liquid War is available for DOS, Windows, GNU/Linux and FreeBSD and the current version is 5.5.9.
