Le Délit français, also simply known as Le Délit, is an independent francophone newspaper on the McGill University campus, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is a sister publication to the English-language The McGill Daily and, as such, is published by the Daily Publications Society (DPS). In accordance with the Constitution of the DPS, the newspaper is run exclusively by McGill students.

Le Délit was created in 1977 to provide a voice for francophone students at McGill University, an English-speaking institution. As of Fall 2003, 19.6% of the student body at McGill had declared French as their mother tongue. The paper is a francophone enclave, itself within an anglophone stronghold established in the second-largest French-speaking city in the world.

Before becoming its own publication, a French-language section was reserved in The McGill Daily. In its early days, the section and the eventual newspaper was called Le McGill Daily français but the name was soon changed to Le Délit, owing to an evident play-on-words. In French, the word délit actually means offence or misdemeanour.

Le Délit is a member of Canadian University Press and le Carrefour international de la presse universitaire francophone (CIPUF).
