103.2 Dublin City FM is Dublin's only Special Interest, Arts, and Cultural radio station, broadcasting to Dublin City and County on 103.2, licenced by The Broadcasting Commision of Ireland.

History

Dublin City FM started in 1992, as Anna Livia FM from Grafton Street, Dublin.The station has moved location numberous times, the current location being on East Wall Road (Near: Point Depot)

Dublin City FM has gotten alot of regoniition for porviding ethnic communitys, local groups. Thus being Dublin's Only special interest radio station. In 2007 103.2 Dublin City Anna Livia FM became eligible for The PPI Radio Awards.

In Late September 2007, The BCI passed the application for the station to change its name. On October 15th 2007, the station was renamed from 103.2 Dublin City Anna Livia FM to current name 103.2 Dublin City FM

Programmes

The station broadcasts 7 days a week from 07:00 - 02:00. Programmes Include: Current affairs, documentaries, Dublin issues, the arts, literature, business, health, media matters, sport, nature, leisure activities, women's topics, plus special interest Irish and world music (such as Black Echoes).

Live Drive cameras

Dublin City Anna Livia FM broadcast traffic info every weekday morning and weekday evening on their Live Drive programme. In association with the Dublin City Council traffic monitoring network, broadcasters monitor and analyse and over 150 Cameras around the city with a view to helping listeners avoid traffic and find parking.
