K. M. Chaitanya

K.M. Chaitanya is a documentary film maker and film director. He has made documentaries for several international channels. His first feature film is Aa dinagalu in Kannada.

He is the son of dramatist K. Marulasiddappa.

Chaitanya has directed several dramas. He has co-directed Kannada drama Odakalu bimba along with Girish Karnad which was also staged in English as A heap of broken images.

Chaitanya has worked as the Bangalore correspondent for a technology show on CNN, titled CNN dotcom and directed a documentary for BBC World’s Business Bizarre programme.

He has worked as assiciate director for the National award winning film Kaanooru Heggadathi. He got Kanfida award for best Associate director. He has done a documentary on Cancer for South Asian patients.
