Jason Bauers

Jason Bauers is the drummer in the metal band Psyopus, signed to Metal Blade Records. He was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and attended the City Honors School. After graduating in 2004, he was accepted at the University at Buffalo to study Music Performance and, specifically, percussion.
Jason Bauers has played with numerous punk and metal bands, including the Buffalo-based metal band The Line Dance Massacre, which is currently signed to Hegira Records, with whom he recorded the LP The Obscure Addiction.
In the summer of 2007, Bauers was recruited to play in the Rochester, New York based metal band Psyopus, and completed a cross-country tour supporting the acts Melt Banana and Dying Fetus, among others.
