Warstar is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe.

Fictional character biography

Warstar is a member of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard. Warstar is actually two symbiotically linked aliens, a small one named B'nee who can generate electricity and a large one named C’cil who is gigantic and immensely strong and durable. B'nee rides on C'cil's back. Both appear to have metallic hides or to be wearing body armor.

Warstar was a traitor who served Lord Samedar, Deathbird, and the Brood in their conspiracy to overthrow Shi'ar Princess-Majestrix Lilandra.

They were discharged and sent to Earth, which had been turned into an intergalactic prison in the Maximum Security crossover in 2000.

Warstar and Neutronseemed to be pardonned for their actions and were both later seen among the Imperial Guard again. However, Hussar and Webwing were never seen again.

Beany and Cecil

They are named for the puppets Beany and Cecil. In West Coast Avengers #80 (part two of Operation: Galactic Storm), Iron Man sarcastically asks if they come from a moon called "Leakin' Luna", referring to the Leakin' Lena in the Beany and Cecil series.

In other media

In the X-Men Animated Series, Warstar appears in The Phoenix Saga and The Dark Phoenix Saga alongside the rest of the Imperial Guard.

In Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Warstar appears in Wolverine's comic mission trying to blow up the Omega base, and later on Shi'ar. He fights the heroes alongside Starbolt.
