PIL

Slang term developed in the early 90's in northern Mexico by the Romero Saldivar family. The term is used to refer to another person. It may be offensive or friendly depending on the tone used when pronnounced. A short "pil" can be used to simply call someone's attention in an non offensive way. On the other hand, "piiiiiiiiiiil" is normally offensive and should be used only with close friends that will not get offended by you.
