Mark Walk
Mark Walk is a composer, producer and current member of the bands Skinny Puppy and ohGr. Working in the electronic and industrial music genres, He became a writer,producer, studio engineer at a studio He built with Jim Nickel and Eric Anderson in MN. The studio is called Pachyderm.
During this time he also did work with Invisible Records in Chicago.
Branching out from his work with Invisible Records, and Pachyderm, he spent time in Malibu working with Skinny Puppy on their album The Process. Thereafter, he moved to Seattle where his work included writing and producing material with Nivek Ogre for ohGr, and Leslie Rankine for Ruby. Additionally, while in Seattle, he worked with Tim Skold, Bill Rieflin, and KMFDM, including additional studio work from Scott Crane and Loki der Quaeler.
Walk currenlty resides in Los Angeles, where in addition to collaborating on Skinny Puppy and ohGr albums, he has been writing and producing music for commercials and film[1].
He began his musical career in a local band, featuring John Reeves, Terry Morehouse, Bruce Bushman and Kevin Brandt, www.myspace.com/step9, who later went on to perform with Mary Karlzen www.marykarlzen.com. At 15, he also played lead guitar for Starwood, which featured the Szamanda Brothers (Mark and Paul), keyboardist Jerry Barker, and drummer Mike Fittante.
