Live at Woodstock (1999, MCA Records) is a two-disc set which features Jimi Hendrix's performance at the Woodstock Music and Art Festival. It had been previously released in 1994, as a one disc set, which only contained part of the show. This two-disc release is another element on the definitive reissues catalogue, and contains almost the entire show, minus two songs with vocals by the rhythm guitarist at the show, Larry Lee (a cover of the Impressions' "Gypsy Woman" and an original song, "Mastermind"). There were also moments during the show where Lee's guitar was noticeably out of tune, which were omitted from the songs. [1]

The recording, sound mix and the 1999 remix were done by Eddie Kramer, who has pointed out that the conditions were primitive; in view of that, the result is very good though Lee on rhythm guitar and the two hand percussionists (apart from Mitchell on drums) were often unduly brought down on the tapes under Hendrix' guitar assault, as has been indicated by people who were present at the show.

The album was also released in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the historical event.
