Remove the Veil

Remove The Veil is a four-piece Christian southern rock band from Opelika, Alabama, founded in January of 2005. They are currently signed to Facedown Records.

History

The band was initially a five-piece indie rock band consisting of Hendrix, McCall, Hood, Coxwell and then vocalist Michael Sasser. They released an EP in 2005 with 5 songs. In mid-2005 Sasser left to join With Blood Comes Cleansing, and the band decided to put Hendrix on vocals and guitar rather than find a replacement. In the winter of 2005 the band won a local "battle of the bands" called "Indie Wars" held by The Core, a Christian venue in Columbus, Georgia. The grand prize for winning "Indie Wars" was free time in a studio. June of 2006 saw the release of their first EP as a four-piece band. After tours, shows, and internet play, the band was signed to Facedown Records in early 2007. Their first studio album is called Another Way Home and was released on October 16, 2007 through Facedown Records.
