The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle was not coined by Jello Biafra it was the title of a "rockumentary" produced by Malcolm McLaren about his vision of the Sex Pistols, and their story it was released in 1979 and has an accompanied soundtrack released in the same year under the same title.

It would therefore have been impossible for Jello to coin this term in the mid 90's

I agree - do you fancy changing the article? Secretlondon 19:51, Dec 27, 2003 (UTC)

The film got a home video release long before 1993, I hired it from my local video shop in about 1984. --SimonUK 15:20, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"However, Sting, bassist and lead singer of the band, The Police has a bit part."

No he doesn't. He's only in out-takes, not the finished film.

"The film also features copious amounts of full-frontal nudity (both male and female)."

Copious? Hardly.

And the above poster is right about VHS release dates. I have it on VHS here from 1982 (Virgin Video) in one of those old "big" VHS library cases.
