how come? carlos ledher is the father of my cousin and as far as i know, he still is in jail!!! i could not believe it when i read this today!

NPOV

Sentences like th3 one below are not NPOV. At several places, this article seems to make an argument instead of presenting fact neutrally.

The Lehder case illustrates how far the federal government's use of the witness protection program has moved from its original intent of protecting innocent victims or informants who testify against major crime figures Wolfman 18:21, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)

It says on George Jung's page that Ledher went into the witness protection scheme following a deal with Bill Clinton. This entry tells a different story. One of them is wrong.

It states that the deal was made in 1992 (mentions nothing about Clinton). Bill Clinton did not assume office until 1993, and the deal to testify against Noriega was made with Lehder in 1992--that would be under George H. Bush's Presidency.

added a load of stuff and rewrote the thing yesterday; i'll stick some external links in there and tidy it up and add s'more soon enough. also rewrote the george jung article and added a bit to the medellin cartel. i'm going to add a bunch more drug-war and drug-trade articles and have this link to 'em.

LEHEDER CAPTURE

In a last year released book writen by one of Pablo Escobar hit man, he claims that Carlos Leheder was delated by Pablo due Lehder killed one of Pablo's man.

As long as is known he was born in Armenia, Colombia.
