Government of Milwaukee

Hey, I just wanted to apologize for stepping on your attempts to improve and spin-off the Government of Milwaukee article! I was wrong to so quickly revert your attempts...please forgive my overzealousness in that manner. Let me try to help, I'd like to make up for it. Let me know what I can do to assist! Thanks! – Dreadstar 16:51, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent! Glad to have you contributing to AG! – Dreadstar 23:01, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Please, Do Not Delete

Yes, I do believe certain articles on The Simpsons need to go, but not because I dislike The Simpsons. In fact, I have liked it for as long as I could remember, and I have always been a dedicated fan. That does not translate into "we must keep anything and everything that has to do with The Simpsons". As a general encyclopedia set in the real world, Wikipedia must only include things if they have a relevance to the real world. And apparently, these articles do have relevance in the real world, yet I hadn't realized this (and neither did the articles). There seems to be a large consensus for keeping, and also, by me nominating them for deletion, I can't delete them myself. Also, have you seen Wikisimpsons? MessedRocker (talk) 10:08, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please note that canvassing on Wikipedia is highly discouraged. MessedRocker (talk) 13:48, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've nominated User:JoeyLovesSports/Save The Simpsons, a page you created, for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:JoeyLovesSports/Save The Simpsons and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:JoeyLovesSports/Save The Simpsons during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Maxim(talk) 19:08, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Wisconsin Knowledge Concepts Examinations, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.dpi.state.wi.us/oea/wkce.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 07:41, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:MyFoxMilwaukee.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:MyFoxMilwaukee.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:59, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
